Bikes have changed the way people travel countless times over the past 200 years, and with the current emphasis on fossil fuel free travel, they are doing so yet again. A new generation of ebikes is on the market with more power and higher speeds (up to 28mph (45kph)), they’re encouraging people to ditch the car and choose two wheels for their commute.
Our newest helmet – the SpeedPedelec Visor Helmet is designed to meet the demands of this new commuter segment. In addition to CE standard EN1078 certification the SpeedPedelec Helmet also meets the NTA8766 S-EPAC certification, offering greater levels of impact protection and head coverage for the higher speed classification of e-bike. A full Koroyd core ensures added protection but doesn’t mean extra weight.
The SpeedPedelec Helmet‘s lightweight in-mould construction with extended skull coverage in combination with integrated Koroyd core for superior energy absorption offers best protection for urban riders. The helmet also features a host of neat details, creating the ultimate city lid. The one hand micro-adjustment fit system allows for a perfect individual fit on the go. Antibacterial, fast wicking fabric padding adds to comfort. An adjustable visor protects your eyes from cold drafts and rain as well as road dust and insects. Controlled airflow cooling is achieved with an easy open/ close front vent.
