This spring sees new heavy-duty legwear and trail-friendly jerseys join that range which benefit directly from the input and feedback from the first family of downhill racing.
The all new MT500 Burner Pant and MT500 Burner Short borrow innovation from the race kit that our Product Development team work on with the Athertons, taking advantage of the latest durable stretch fabrics to provide a flap free, slim fit which the freedom of movement required for wrestling a bike down the gnarliest DH courses. Available in our new forest green colourway as well as in ever stealthy black.
DH durability in a trail friendly, ride all day construction, the MT500 Burner Pant and the MT500 Burner Shorts are made from four way stretch fabric in combination with a durable seat panel for longevity, mesh back knees for ventilation, and high stretch crotch and rear panels for full freedom of movement. The non-flap slim fit is ideal for fast racing action, whether DH or enduro. As you’d expect, they’re designed to be worn with our growing range of knee protectors and we’ve added additional 3D moulded details on the outer knee add some extra protection when the trails get sketchy and the trees get a little too close for comfort.
Based on the #EnduraCustom jersey that we produce for Athertons, the limited edition MT500 L/S Print T is inspired by World Champions. This lightweight long sleeve trail jersey comes in a men’s and a women’s versions and is made from fast wicking, lightweight fabric with a fresh new print for a new season. The slender, not baggy, flap-free fit accommodates slim line armour like our SingleTrack Lite Elbow Protectors.
