Nothing short of brilliant
A bit heavy, but stunningly good. I just completed a 1350 mile ride around the UK. For nice days I used my regular light cycling socks. For rainy days though, these were my go to kit. When I say rainy I mean nasty, heavy horizontal wind-driven rain in 5 degree C weather. These kept my feet quite dry aside from a little clamminess due to my own perspiration. And warm - yes when it was chilly, but not over-heated when it got a bit warmer. The socks themselves have a comfy soft somewhat thick texture. The great thing is that, with a little give, these socks essentially prevented hot spots in my cycling shoes - big bonus - no blisters. I'll probably get myself another pair for use when I'm back country skiing here in Canada. Can't say enough good about these socks.
