Almost great

I love this jacket. Fantastic value for money against other rain jackets which are 3 times the price. It is super-light weight, folds/rolls easily into a back pocket, it is windproof meaning very little else is required in temperatures down to 2-4C, it is a nice tight race-fit, and is waterproof. However, the wrist has a stretchy fabric area which allows the hand to pass through whilst maintaining a tight fit. This fabric area is not waterproof which means when it rains water quickly soaks through as water runs down the arm, and onto your base-layer sleeve underneath (capillary action then draws water up to your elbows), or down into your gloves, which kind of defeats the purpose. After 2 years I find the waterproofing is not as great as it once was, I would love to know how to re-proof it so that i can carry on wearing it as a rain jacket rather than just as a wind jacket.
