Good thermoregulation is key to efficient riding in hot climates. Endura's Xtract Lite Short helps keep your core temperature cool by moving sweat away from your skin. The addition of a couple of hot weather beating extras is what really sets these shorts apart however, including a UPF50+ treatment for the fabric and a 500 series temperature regulating pad.
500 Series Pad
The 500 series pad excels in hot climates by using DisperseFoam™, a global exclusive for Endura. This disruptive foam cell construction provides superior drying and dramatically improved air permeability compared to conventional PU foams. This, combined with silver yarn fabric with cool touch in a Continuously Variable Profile high stretch pad makes the 500 series pad the go to choice for hot weather riding.

Great for Zwifting
All the features that were designed into these shorts for summer use also make them absolutely ideal for churning out the miles on an indoor trainer. The fabric is lightweight, and almost feels a bit fragile, but seems to be wearing well (I tend to wash my nice cycling kit on a sports wash setting and put it in a mesh bag to give it a bit more protection). The pad is quite substantial but it is well shaped and very comfortable, these shorts have rapidly become my go-to shorts for sessions on the turbo trainer.
