Design Philosophy
We heard you. When the Hummvee collection was launched we were asked by our friends in warmer climates for an option designed just for them. This much-loved icon of the MTB scene was originally developed by working with London delivery couriers back in the day. We asked them what they needed in a pair of urban cycling shorts and Hummvee was born. So versatile a product, it was adopted by mountain-bikers too and can be seen on both the trail and the daily commute. This light weight full stretch version is pared down and perfect for hot weather. It comes complete with a padded liner short.
Fabrics
The short is made in a light weight mini-ripstop fabric with full 4-way stretch and a DWR finish for effective spray protection. Critical seams are also twin-needled for added security.
Utility and Cargo Pockets
There are no less than 4 pockets on this short: 2 hand pockets, 1 zipped side leg pocket and 1 rear zipped pocket for your coins and keys.
Functional Detail
The waistband is partially elasticated and the garment comes with an integral belt. There are mesh panels on the thigh areas for increased breathability in the hottest weather.
Clickfastâ„¢ Detachable Liner Short Included
This product comes complete with an Endura Clickfastâ„¢ detachable liner. Just pull them on and you are ready to roll. The liner is made with a light-weight stretch mesh, elastic waistband and silicon hem grippers. The seat pad is our very own 200 series pad for wicking comfort throughout the day. And, can be quickly clicked in and out with Clickfastâ„¢ attachment system, interchangeable with other MTB cycle shorts in our range.

Good quality. Good fit (XL). Not worn in action yet but I have hummvee & single tracks in long & short so I’m confident about them.

Hummvee 3/4 shorts.
Not worn as of yet, due to ongoing chemotherapy, and cannot wait to get out and try them. They look very well made and seem to be true to size maybe erring on the tighter side so maybe size up if you want a looser fit.

3/4 pant for full day wear
Grabbed these as in the sale they were cheaper than buying a liner alone for a pair of pants I also ordered. Has to be said these are a massive bonus as they are hugely comfy easy to ride in and will be great for summer rides ending in a pint or tea and cake on the trail! I’m from a time when baggy shorts and jeans were the go to and these fit my mindset of riding in the 90’s idolising GT zaskars and the Mountain Cycle SanAndreas. Super pleased with the purchase and I’ll be grabbing more pairs in the future.

Go a size up!
Really nice shorts, can be used for walking too. Pockets are deep and well placed. Sizing is tight though! I fit into a 32" jeans at Next and yet the medium size here is tight. Will order a large next time. Obviously these are not the cheapest option so 4 stars rather than 5 but quality is good.
