Overview
The MT500 D3O® Ghost Knee Pads are a ground breaking, knee saving design built around D3O®’s new Ghost insert. They are the lightest, most flexible, certified knee pads we have ever made, created for all day riding with a barely there feel. That subtle feel remains right up until the moment you need protection, backed by CE EN 1621-1 certification.
Achieving the right fit is critical in riding protection. An elasticated cuff with a silicone gripper helps keep the pads securely in place, while the panel design and stretch ripstop fabric conform closely to the leg for unrestricted pedalling comfort throughout the day. Additional perforated, shock absorbent neoprene protection has been added to the side of the knee to provide extra coverage in unpredictable crashes.
D3O® technology uses patented, patent pending and proprietary materials that are soft and flexible with high shock absorbing properties. Based on non Newtonian principles, the material stiffens on impact to dissipate energy and reduce transmitted force, before returning to its flexible state once the force has passed.
