Excellent winter tights

I've been riding in these for the past 6 weeks on many rides here in Scotland about 20 rides ranging in distance from 40 to 70 miles. In low temperatures (4°C lowest) they kept me warm enough, in heavy autumnal rain they also performed well and kept me warm enough. The seat padding was great for the longer rides. In showery weather they dry out reasonably well in-between showers. In all excellent quality that you could pay more. I like the high back/front with zip on front to deal with any calls of nature.

Disappointing details, but work well

Firstly, these are made of a good choice of fabrics. Great balance of windproof, stretch and breathable. The fit is generous, I would have sized down compared to the size chart. However, they have some issues. The ankle zip upper end is not sewn in and has hard plastic that rubs. The chamois has an small panel sewn in the front, which needs 'adjustment' to make sure the wee man doesn't rub. There's also a seam under the crotch, that is felt through the pad. Finally the waist zip doesn't have a 'garage' or lock when folded down - the act of pedalling slowly unzips it. They're ok, but not great.
