Mountain Bike Action (US) - Hummvee Lite Short Review

Mountain Bike Action (US) - Hummvee Lite Short Review

"The Hummvee Lite shorts come with Endura’s inner short, and that’s why they pick up a star. The Clickfast system is just as secure as a short designed with a sewnin inner short, but you can remove it. It stays in place, and the snaps never rubbed or caused discomfort. The shorts are light, and the breathable panel adds to their hot-weather comfort." - Hummvee Lite Short - Hummvee Lite Short

"Some liners are held in with silly loops and wimpy closures, but the Hummvee liner is on there unless you really want them to not be.  Excellent.  The liner is decent as well... There are straps at the hem of the short that allow you to close up the leg openings a bit.  Interesting. The cut is comfy and nothing poked or tugged or bothered anything.  It has not been very hot here, being Fall/Winter and all, but I would suspect that this short will wear well in hot conditions."

"These shorts missed out on the bunch test in the summer issue, which is an oversight because they're lightweight and perfect for sweltering conditions. The four-way stretch Nylon make the Hummvee half the weight of the Sombrio short."
